Bodega Botanica Tales series

This six-part novella series will be launched in installments by 2027. Each story follows a tween/ teen from Silk City, a fictional urban setting. Their everyday struggles, friendships and search for identity lead them through a magical portal into the Bodega Botánica, an alternate rainforest-like universe inhabited by their ancestors.

Why I wrote the Bodega Botanica Tales series: My own childhood inspired this series. I grew up in poverty, and between two languages and cultures. I felt caught between these two worlds, unsure how to fully belong to either.
